Pastel demonstration

On Tuesday, 9th January, a good turnout of members came to see another demo from Paul Arnott, our secretary, who stepped in to fill a vacant spot in our programme, and was treated to another great treatment of pastel painting. Paul gave us a first picture quite similar to that with which he won the landscape prize in our recent annual exhibition, waves breaking on a beach, followed by one of the Northern Lights, both shown here. Both demonstrations were punctuated with many humorous comments and anecdotes. Many thanks, Paul.
