Peter Cronin demonstration

After a 'technical' hitch, we had another stunning demonstration by old friend of the Society - Peter Cronin. He painted Big Pit in watercolour … a very industrial, unromantic landscape. Peter created a fantastically evocative work, explaining his approach to painting from a photo, and showing his process with washes. To add to the demo the whole time was peppered with funny anecdotes.
