At our AGM on 21st March, the existing committee were re-elected to continue for 2023, with the exception of our programme secretary, Claire Sadlier, and our Vice-Chairman and Facebook manager, Jude Harrington, who have both reached the end of their permitted time on the committee. We are now therefore in need of a new programme secretary. Please let us know if you would like to help your Society in this or any other capacity.
Roger ‘Ben’ Bennett was also elected to the committee as treasurer, and Vaso Collier was also elected to the committee.
A proposal to increase the subscription to £50 per annum from 2024 was carried. The visitor’s fee is alo to be increased to £5.
Exhibition News
Eli Absi confirmed that we have a six week exhibition at Penarth pavilion at no charge. It will run from 1st December 2023 until 15th January 2024. There will be a 25 percent commission on any sales. This will be our 2023 Annual exhibition.
We have confirmation also of the Turner Gallery, Penarth for our 2024 annual exhibition. This will run from 1st April ‘til 28th April 2024.
