After taking a few moments silence in respect of the late Queen Elizabeth II, the members welcomed Paul back to demonstrate for us.
We were treated to a masterclass in watercolour painting, and Paul shared his process, from warm up exercises in soft and hard reflections (see photo of 2 boats, left) through his composition and tonal sketch to the completed watercolour. He shared so many insights into his way of working, from the paint a paper used to the ONE giant brush he used. The Society would like thank Paul for a wonderful evening.
