Tuesday 12 September marked our return to society evenings, and what a delight it was to have Rupert Aker showing us his extraordinary skill using oils with a selection of palette knives. Working at breathtaking speed, he produced his first painting in 25 minutes, the fields, mountains, and trees appearing as by magic from almost "thrown on paint" - followed by 2 more pictures after the break! A great night - thank you Rupert.
