Painting with oil and wax

We were treated to an excellent demonstration by Gigi jones on Tuesday evening (23rd). Gigi showed us and explained very clearly, how she created her artwork using oil paint mixed with cold wax. She applied the layers, now of a thick consistency, using a variety of tools, and scraped into the layers to create really exciting effects.

A thoroughly absorbing presentation enjoyed by all. I will definitely be trying out this process, when I can afford the wax.
